Well after my laptop crashed, I was able to get on the computers at the local library once (seems a 3 year old doesn't want to wait an hour for one to open up), so, I got a new computer yesterdsay, and now I am back.

I will be checking in from time to time now, trying to catch up.

Rob! Great to have you back! It's hard to imagine being without a computer for that long. Surely you're big enough that you could have intimidated a 3 year-old, and got access to a computer?

Looking forward to your posts. It's been slow here lately...

What did you end up buying? I'm looking for one to do photo software and other stuff and haven't decided what to buy yet.

I bought a Dell inspiron 530. Kinda a cheaper one, but I did get the 22 inch screen, and they had good ratings. Of coarse it was the Dell website that had the ratings, but they looked to be honest ratings. I really don't know alot about it, but it seems to be a good one, It has extra ports, if I wanted to add something, and 3 gigs(?) of memory. It also has two processors, but I haven't figured that out yet. I would recommend it, so far, no problems. I would like to build my own someday, but this one will do for awhile.
