Default The CS-2 Centerscribe is available again!

I'm so glad I got one the last time they made a batch. LOVE this layout tool and use it all the time.

I'm with you, Scott. I was using my CS-2 just this weekend. I love that tool!

If you don't have one, buy one! And get the mortise and tenon attachment. It's magic!

Just ordered mine and attachment about half an hour ago. I've been waiting for them to become available for...ages. Now anticipation takes over.

Can you guys elaborate?
I just don't see the need to center vs. referencing a finished face.

What else can you do with it?

And the M&T rig?

I use the centering for resawing. You can make a nice line down a board really easily. It's also handy when you're drilling holes, etc., so that they're exactly in the center of the board.

The M&T attachment allows you to dial in the width of your mortise or tenon, slide the CS down the board, flip it, slide it again, and voila - a perfect layout for a mortise or tenon. Fast and reliable.

Here's a link to a video about it:

It's definitely one of my favorite tools.

It also marks the center of turning stock.
