Default Re: Cutting dovetails on the JMP. Any advice is welcome

We have been doing that long before Woodpecker's started that.

We monitor interest in products through our web site via page hits, searches, and "Add me to Wishlist" clicks. Hence us having made the CS-2 and DJ-1 every 9 months for the past 3-4 years. Also the KM-1. We have been waiting for the interest in that to wane, but it just keeps going and going!
The Honing Guide will be re-released shortly, because there is widespread interest in it.

Woodworking is a small and contracting market. It can become saturated pretty quickly, especially on the hand tool end of things. As Woodpecker's has also discovered, keeping zero/minimal inventory and pre-selling takes a lot of the risk out of developing and releasing product (as well as minimizing stress in the day to day operations of the business.) Admittedly, it puts the burden on the consumer as not everyone has the money at any given time to throw down for a new product with a 2 week or 30 day Pre-Order window. We try to alleviate that however we can.

Ok, need to do some drawings for the CT-18!
