Last winter John Economaki had a contest to find the rarest wood samples ever. The entries were to be submitted with strict instructions about their size, construction, etc., and were due in March. Apparently there must have been TONS of entries, as the final 9 were just posted today:

Maybe I'm not the smartest guy, but I didn't see the poll section until later and then by accident; it is on the left hand margin, below the "Tool Schedule List" and the calendar. Lots of great creativity.
