I have trouble remembering what I had for breakfast (I have the same thing most days ). It's been at least a couple of years since I've re-read those -- the nice thing here is it's like reading them for the first time (free, new books ).
That joint should be a snap (well, almost) -- David had to use an indicator to align the wood before drilling. We get to breeze right through that part thanks to the DJ-1. And with the Domino edge joining a few sections could make a nice width coffee or end table. Very cool.

Actually, drilling accurate holes through wood is never a snap. I've drilled fairly precise & straight holes 52" through metals without problems but wood grain is a whole different story. David is correct.
