I'm wondering if I missed the opportunity to pre-order the extension jaws for the DJ-1 jig??? On March 16 John mentioned in his blog that later that week the jaws would be available for pre-order. I'm wondering if that came & went and I missed it?

The Universal Jaws have not been posted for pre-sale yet.

BTW,
Ronwen, by tightening the Knobs on the Body of the DJ-1, you remove any play that might be in the body. The Body is "attached" to the Arms by only the cables, so in critical situations, especially with larger bits, try tightening the knobs down.

Thanks Mike, I'll keep an eye out for the extension jaws -- they should be very useful.

I usually do spin the DJ-1 knobs down to "contact" which should take care of most any slack but I've found that either a spring clamp or Bessey Kliklamp better holds the workpiece and jig in position.

Well said Roger! That's the truth! I kinda like it like that, it lets me save up to pay for the other half of my pre-order!

Blame it on Daylight Savings Time. Or, the full Moon.

HA! Too funny!

Now Roger...I believe I have heard complaints from you when we release products too quickly....I am just doing your wallet a favor by spreading stuff out.

Really it comes down to doing so many things at once. We have bunch of projects in the works and they all take our time. :LateNiteTiredImage:

Sorry if the wait is irksome to some of you! Just wait until you see what will be coming your way....

I wouldn't worry about it too much, Michael, obviously most folks think your products are worth the wait. That says a lot.
