Ron,

I am very ,much not writing you off and very much hope you can make it out. Let me know if I can help. I very much understand that back pain especially in a car or truck. How far are you from Pittsburgh? I find that taking the train helps me greatly as I can get up and walk around.

You should have them shortly. Just so you know as those planes were a little bit more expensive than the KerfMaker you had her send me, well I picked up your shipping charges. Yep, that's correct all of the shipping charges. Oh and Natasha mentioned that there was not quite enough room on your credit card so she had your limit extended. You are SOOOOOOOOOOOO welcome.

Fred
You are correct, I just checked & I can only handle one plane right now on my debit card. Perhaps Poto will want the other. Did she happen to give a delivery update on the DJ-1's?

Okay, gents. I'm no longer a Bozo. I ordered my Kerf Maker. Yes - only one. I only have 2 tools in my shop that make kerfs, for crying out loud! So I didn't achieve kerfection, but I figure it's the first step on the road to kerflightenment.

And thanks so much for the stainless steel shoulder plane, Ron. It's exactly what I need - I've got the small and medium versions. You're a champ!

So what do you think is going to be made out of Black Chrome?!?

The black chrome has me thrown for a loop... There are a couple coating options that can be done in that color and I'm going to have to rule out powdercoating... It's just not strong enough for most tools and would chip off. So it's got to be some kind of ionized gas process ( IonBond is a COOOL company I got to visit once... they do coatings for everything from cabinet knobs to military sniper rifles...)

I only ordered one as well... I'm not planning on putting them in a fixture and I can handle carrying the lil guy from one saw to another. Pretty easy to adjust the kerf for the JMP's cut that's for sure lol

That's a good thought. I can't remember the last time that I rode a train (in this country). What a crying shame we let the infrastructure go to bike trails.

Ron,

Strangely she mentioned that your request for the DJ-1 had been destroyed, thrown away, stuffed in a drawer, ah yes lost. Luckily your credit card was still charged but that within the next decade or so your DJ-1 will be delivered.

Pingdingding,

I am so pleased and at the very least it can be said that you have achieved Kerfet. Kerfet will, upon your demise, gain you entry to Taco Bell heaven. Two tools that make kerfs and yet only one kerfmaker, hmmm. Something seems so wrong.

That will be OK, just as long as they aren't waiting for the boat from china to unload them...
