Bowclamp Modern technology used to realize an age-old idea: a perfect bow shaped arc. The Bowclamp's patented design - made possible only with the help of computerized, numerically-controlled cutting technology (CNC) - allows for equal clamping pressure along the entire length of the glue line... with only one clamp at each end!

Default Are you Gluedude?

I thought this was an interesting read from the Popular Woodworking blog... both the post and the response from a gentleman named Gluedude. Certainly seems to know his stuff. I'd like to talk to Gluedude. Anybody know who he is?

I was interested in that too, Craig. He seems like he wants to share his knowledge, too. It'd be great to get him on talkFestool! Gotta love somebody who knows how glue chemically bonds to cellulose!

Why not leave a comment in the thread asking Gluedude to contact you? Or write the PW staff and ask them to contact Gluedude on your behalf?

I thought about leaving a comment on the blog Chris, but I thought it would be in bad form. Kinda like hijacking someone's thread on a forum. It would clearly come across as to being for my own financial benefit.

And I would love the opportunity to talk to them... trust me, they have my number and my email.

But if I was going to hijack one of his blog posts, it would be this one!

At least two of the guys who wrote it are still around, Brian Wilson and Mike Love. Gary Usher, who was a major song writer and producer, co-wrote it with them, he died in 1990 at the young age of 51.
