A little back story...

This is my second WIA. I was there last year. Had a very successful show, but most never new I was there.

As I was pulling out of town last year I saw Don Weber struggling to get his old treadle lathe onto his trailer, solo. So I ran over to give him a hand. We'd never met. He was naturally grateful. Before he could pull away I was busy stuffing a set of Bowclamps onto his trailer. He was adamant... "no, I don't want them, I won't use them..." I said "of course you'll use them... if you're a woodworker, you will..." "if not, burn 'em... I don't care..."


Fast forward to this year... I'm not in the door 2 minutes, barely found my spot...

I see Don running toward me... "I use 'em everyday!!"

"Of course you do Don... give me a hug!"

That was the beginning... and it only got better from there.
