Sort of. My question at SMC was just about the type of clamps I should but to clamping a tabletop glue-up. Someone (maybe you) suggested using Bowclamps.
My comment here is the same as it was there - based on the pictures of his work, if Elji gets those result with Bowclamps and a couple of clamps, I'm sold. I will say that Craig has been extremely helpful via e-mail.
My only reason to pose a question here was to determine which clamps to use. I'm still confused, but I'm inclined to start with 3/4" bar clamps that I already have, since it sounds like they will work, the price is right, and 60" F-style and parallel clamps are pricey.
My instinct is to look for a Jet or Bessey parallel clamp package sale. Thanks again to all and very happy to (inadvertently) prompt such a lively discussion.
