As far as edge glue-ups goes, these York clamps are the best I've seen. I've been using these for a few years now, and they are solid! and keep the boards nice and flat. They are also easy and fast to use. Anyone doing regular edge glue-ups should have some. They'll soon pay for themselves in time saved, sandpaper, and general frustration, trying to keep 6 boards flat on a table top glue-up.

In a perfect world, I'd have these York clamps and a few Bowclamps for cabinets. If only Bowclamp was available in Japan.
Cheers!

Hey Okami,
I'm not clear how the York clamps are sold. Are they priced for (2) bars (top & bottom of one location or are they sold as (4) bars -- that appears to be what they show. I guess I should have included a limk to the site.

I just went back to the site, they clearly say (4) bars for two clamps.
